German School Athens at the Faculty of Engineering

Students from the German School in Athens visit RheinMain University of Applied Sciences and explore the Faculties of Engineering and Wiesbaden Business School.

The German School Athens visited Hochschule RheinMain (HSRM) for the second time. First, Alexander Kallenberg from the Student Advisory Service welcomed the 18 students and their teachers to the Wiesbaden Business School faculty and gave them an overview of HSRM. The group then split up: seven students and their teachers went to the Faculty of Engineering at the Rüsselsheim Campus, while the others stayed at the Wiesbaden Business School in Wiesbaden.

Electrical and Aeronautical Engineering in Rüsselsheim

On their trip to Germany, the 11th graders from the German School in Athens get to know various colleges and universities to find out about study opportunities in Germany. One of five groups visits the Rhine-Main region. This time, the focus was on the Electrical and Aeronautical Engineering degree program.

The students experienced the diversity of the degree program: the flight simulators with Bernhard Schreiber and Fabio Ramirez Stern, the wind tunnel with Uwe Bernhardt, the electronics laboratory with Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV) with Christian Hottum and the Scuderia Mensa (dining hall) with Robert Helfrich.
