Richard Müller Foundation
The Richard Müller Foundation was established in the 1980s by Richard Müller, an entrepreneur from Wiesbaden who wanted to promote the future of young talent.
Today, the foundation offers students of the Wiesbaden Business School a valuable opportunity for personal and academic development.
Each semester, we award up to 30 scholarships of up to €3,500 each - a unique opportunity to make your academic dreams come true!
A special highlight of our scholarships is the support for study visits to international higher education institutions. Richard Müller wanted our students to think not only locally, but also globally. Take the opportunity to get to know new cultures and perspectives!
You can find all the important information on this in our funding guidelines.
The Board of Directors is made up of representatives from industry and the Hochschule RheinMain. It currently consists of:
- Chairman of the Board Paul Meuer (former Chairman of the Board of Rheingauer Volksbank).
- Deputy Chairman of the Board Prof. Dr. Heiko Schön (Head of the International Management course)
- Jürgen Friedrich (tax consultant, Senior Manager at Questro International StBGmbH)
- Elisabeth Ganss (independent personnel consultant, former Managing Director of Dow Corning GmbH)
- Ass. Jur. Martin Henschel (adjunct instructor for special tasks at the higher education institution)
Richard Müller began working in his father's beer wholesaling business in Wiesbaden at an early age and built the company into a regional success after the war. From 1970 to 1977, he was Vice-President of the Wiesbaden Chamber of Industry and Commerce. After his death in Switzerland, he left part of his fortune to a foundation for the benefit of the then Wiesbaden Business School (now the Wiesbaden Business School of HSRM).
