She has been the managing director of ASB Lehrerkooperative GmbH since 2016, where she previously served as department head for three years. After completing her teacher training, she earned certifications as a certified specialist in social and health services and in compliance management, among other fields.

Ulrike Berger replaces Dr. Yasmin Alinaghi, State Executive Director of the Paritätischer Wohlfahrtsverband Hessen, who stepped down from the University Council ahead of schedule at her own request.

HSRM University Council

The ten members of the University Council come from the fields of professional experience, the arts, business, and academia. They were appointed by the Hessian Ministry of Science to serve in an honorary capacity on the University Council. Their responsibilities through May 2027 include advising the university on its development, articulating the expectations of the professional world regarding the university, and promoting the application of scientific findings and artistic achievements. Furthermore, the members of the University Council may make recommendations regarding the establishment of specializations in research and teaching, knowledge and technology transfer, and the allocation of funds.
