“We warmly welcome the many new students to Hochschule RheinMain – University of Applied Sciences and Arts! I am particularly pleased that the new bachelor’s degree programs in the Faculties of Engineering and Applied Social Sciences have been so well received. These innovative, practice-oriented, and flexible degree programs are highly relevant to society. The four new English-language master’s degree programs in Rüsselsheim also reflect the growing internationalization of RheinMain University of Applied Sciences,” said University President Prof. Dr. Eva Waller at the start of the new semester.

At the Schlachthof Cultural Center, Prof. Dr. Waller and Gert-Uwe Mende, mayor of the City of Wiesbaden, welcomed the first-semester students. At the Rüsselsheim Campus, the students were welcomed by the university president, Rüsselsheim Mayor Patrick Burghardt, and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Christian Glockner. This was also the first time that international students enrolled in the English-language master’s programs were welcomed here.

At both locations, first-semester students were able to learn about the HSRM’s numerous services at various information booths.
