Vita
After several stops at universities in Germany and abroad, I am a highly motivated engineer who loves to get to the bottom of things and does not lose sight of the practical side and applications. Transferring the knowledge and developing my staff and students in my courses and research activities are the most lovely thing in my heart. I love teaching and research is my best hobby. I have an excellent social intelligent and my communication skills are rather advanced. I have more than 60 international publications and I have supervised several PhD and M.Sc. successive students. I have chaired and co-organized several IEEE conferences and invited as keynote speaker as well. I am reviewer for several IEEE transactions and conferences in Antennas and Propagationa, Vehicles Technology and Communication societies.
Mohamed El Hadidy (Senior Member, IEEE) received his MSc. in Electrical and Communications Engineering (with distinction) from the University of Kassel, Germany, in 2004. In 2005, he was awarded a doctoral scholarship from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD). This enabled him to complete his PhD in 2009 at the Institute for Communication Technology at the Leibniz University of Hanover. From 2009 to 2010, he worked as Assistant Professor for Electronics and Communications Engineering at the German University in Cairo, Egypt, leading international research projects on UWB MIMO communication systems, Cognitive Radios and Interference Alignment Wireless Technologies. From 2010 to 2018, he was a research group leader at the Institute of Digital Signal Processing at the University of Duisburg-Essen. In March 2018, he received the title of Professor for Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at the FOM University of Applied Sciences in Dusseldorf, Germany. From March 2022, he is Professor of loT and Digital Communication Technology at RheinMain University in Germany. Prof. El Hadidy is a reviewer for several international IEEE transactions and conferences. He chaired the IEEE Middle East Conference on Antennas and Propagation 2016 and has been a keynote speaker and co-chair of several IEEE conferences. He has received the Simulia Champoin Award for the year 2025 and he is recently leading several research projects with Monash University in Australia on Chipless RFID Systems. He has more than 80 international publications, one patent and two books.
