What is it?

Mechatronics is a specialization of the Interdisciplinary Engineering degree program

Mechatronics is a field of interdisciplinary engineering spanning the fields of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering and information technology.

In this practice-oriented, interdisciplinary specialization within the Interdisciplinary Engineering degree program, students are familiarized with state-of-the-art mechatronics across a wide range of systems.

What can I do with it?

In many sectors including automotive engineering, mechanical and systems engineering, automation technology or robotics, mechatronic systems are playing an ever-larger role and open up a wide range of career prospects.
