What aspect of your research fascinates you the most?

First and foremost, I am fascinated by the collaboration with international researchers and the influence of research on the future design of digital security. I also appreciate that my field of research, post-quantum cryptography, is relatively young and therefore very dynamic.

What does “good teaching” mean to you?

Good teaching is characterized by interactivity and activation, encourages student participation and integrates them into current research projects.

What did you want to be growing up?

I fit the stereotype and, as a Brazilian, I wanted to be a soccer player for Flamengo Rio de Janeiro for a long time.

What do you enjoy doing in your spare time?

A lot of my free time has to do with music: I play the guitar, go to concerts and enjoy samba dancing with friends. I also play sports and enjoy cooking.
