Philipp Altmeyer is employed as a research assistant in the BMBF-funded research project ‘KIGVI: Automatic AI-supported composition of video news. The aim of the project is to develop an innovative solution for the AI-based composition of video news clips that extracts suitable sections from camera footage and composes them into a broadcast-ready report.
He completed his Bachelor of Science in Media Informatics at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in 2017 and graduated with a Master of Science in Computer Science in 2021. Through his work as a software developer at Namics (Deutschland) GmbH, he gained several years of professional experience.
