namowo founds GmbH

V. l. n. r.: Johann Grobe, Jonathan Braunschneider, Sophia Rother

The start-up "namowo" from the Hochschule RheinMain takes off and becomes a GmbH.

How many parking spaces does a construction project need? Which mobility options make a property more attractive? Which areas should be taken into account when redrawing land use plans? The start-up namowo by Jonathan Braunschneider, Johann Grobe and Sophia Rother provides scientifically based analyses and measures for this - and is now a limited liability company.

The young company run by alumni and students of the Environmental Management and Urban Planning in Metropolitan Areas (UMSB) master's degree program develops innovative mobility concepts for the real estate industry and local authorities, setting new standards for sustainable and digital mobility solutions. The trio was supported by RheinMain StartUpLabs from the initial idea to registration in the commercial register and won the Innovation Camp in 2023. Most recently, namowo was awarded a Hessen Ideen scholarship and an InnoStartWi scholarship from the City of Wiesbaden.

"We are very pleased that we have now taken this step out of the higher education institution and into practical experience. The interdisciplinary perspective from the UMSB studies is now worth its weight in gold for our work," says namowo Managing Director Jonathan Braunschneider.
