The Wiesbaden Business School department at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences (HSRM) welcomed Kaweh Mansoori, Hesse’s Minister of Economic Affairs, to deliver a lecture titled “Hesse as a Key Factor in Economic Success.” Numerous students, faculty members, and other guests took the opportunity to gain insights into current economic policy issues and the prospects for Hesse as a business location.

Hesse as a Business Location of the Future

The focus was on Hesse’s economic strengths, current challenges, and prospects for the region’s future development. Minister Mansoori addressed key developments and framework conditions that are shaping the state’s economic future.

“Economic success arises where bright minds, innovative companies, and policies that create reliable framework conditions come together. Departments such as the Wiesbaden Business School at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences are important hubs for knowledge transfer. They train skilled professionals, develop practical ideas, and thereby strengthen our state’s competitiveness. That is why we invest in favorable business conditions—so that innovations can emerge in Hesse and thrive here,” said the minister.

Opening remarks were delivered by HSRM President Prof. Dr. Eva Waller and Prof. Dr. Thomas Kolb, Professor of Health Management and Accounting at the Wiesbaden Business School, who organized the event.
