Hochschule RheinMain - University of Applied Sciences and Arts welcomes over 1,500 new students

In the summer semester 2026, 1,529 young people will begin their studies at Hochschule RheinMain - University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSRM) in Wiesbaden and Rüsselsheim. A total of 12,320 students are now enrolled in HSRM.

"I am delighted about the many first-semester students at Hochschule RheinMain - University of Applied Sciences and Arts. At HSRM, we teach in a practical way, prepare you for academic appointments and even support you in setting up your own company. During your studies, you will benefit from direct exchange with lecturers with practical experience, from contacts with SMEs and large companies as well as from scholarships, advice and support for your stay abroad," said University President Prof. Dr. Eva Waller at the start of the new semester.

Prof. Dr. Waller and Dr. Patricia Becher, City Councillor of the City of Wiesbaden, welcomed the first semester students at the Schlachthof cultural center. At the Rüsselsheim Campus, the students were welcomed by the University President, the Mayor of Rüsselsheim, Patrick Burghardt, and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Christian Glockner.

The first semester students were able to find out about the numerous services offered by Hochschule RheinMain - University of Applied Sciences and Arts at various stands on both campuses.
