The first semester students were welcomed by Prof. Dr. Waller and Gert-Uwe Mende, Lord Mayor of the City of Wiesbaden, in the AudiMax (main lecture hall) at the Kurt-Schumacher-Ring Campus. At the Rüsselsheim Campus, the students were welcomed by the President of the University, Claudia C. Gotz from the City of Rüsselsheim am Main's Economic Development Department and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Christian Glockner.
At both locations, the first semester students had the opportunity to find out about the numerous services offered by the higher education institution at various stands.
