After more than twenty years of dedicated teaching and research at Wiesbaden Business School, Prof. Dr. Jürgen Reim was given a festive retirement ceremony. Since the winter semester 2003/2004, he has played a key role as a professor in the training of future subjects and managers in the field of controlling and corporate accounting.
Prior to this, Prof. Reim gained extensive practical experience in responsible positions in the business world. His academic appointments included positions at Strategma, Bosch, Treuhandanstalt, Deutsche Telekom and T-Systems, where he was most recently Head of Corporate Controlling. At the same time, he obtained a doctorate at the University of Bremen, thereby deepening his scientific expertise.
At the farewell ceremony, Dean Prof. Dr. Till Dannewald and Dean for Academic Affairs Prof. Dr. Rainer Hartmann paid tribute to Prof. Reim's outstanding work. They emphasized his high level of professional competence, his great practical relevance and his many years of commitment to Wiesbaden Business School and its students. With his expertise in controlling and his clear, application-oriented didactics, he has had a lasting influence on the faculty's degree programs over many years.
