International Exchange at Wiesbaden Business School

Dr. Nikolaos Liontas Asterios at Wiesbaden Business School.

Guest from Thessaloniki gains new inspiration for teaching.

As part of the „Erasmus+ Staff Mobility for training“, Wiesbaden Business School at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences recently welcomed Dr. Nikolaos Liontas Asterios or a three-day “job shadowing” visit. The program gives international professionals insight into the teaching and working methods of other universities and promotes European exchange in higher education. The visit was organized by Vice Dean Prof. Dr. Marina Grusevaja.

Dr. Asterios is from Thessaloniki, Greece, where he works as a lawyer and also teaches at the Hellenic Open University. For him, the Erasmus+ program is already his third stop on an international exchange—he has previously been a guest in Brussels and at Darmstadt University of Applied Sciences.

Inspiration for teaching

His visit to the Wiesbaden Business School is primarily aimed at gaining new inspiration for his own teaching. He is particularly interested in how practical content, new subject areas, and innovative teaching methods can be integrated into university instruction. As a practitioner, he brings valuable professional experience to the classroom and hopes to offer his students even more exciting and application-oriented content as a result.

Wiesbaden Business School welcomes this international exchange and the opportunity to learn from one another and develop shared perspectives on modern university teaching.
