Teaching
The primary goal of all of Prof. Dr. Petry's courses is "employability," defined as the ability of his students to operate successfully in the working world of the future. In this sense, students are both customers whose needs must be satisfied and the products to be refined—i.e., equipped with the skills relevant to the future. Prof. Dr. Petry challenges and supports his students to achieve this goal.

Research and projects
His project and research interests focus on the (interfaces of) the General Management functions of Strategy, Organization, and Human Resources Management. Prof. Dr. Petry trains, coaches, and advises students, managers, and companies in these areas. His focus is on the topics of "Digital Transformation / Digital Leadership / Digital HR / Agile Organization".
