Prof. Dr. Marc Stöttinger has been a professor at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in the DCSM department since January 2022. Previously, he was a Senior IT Analyst at the Hessian Ministry of the Interior and Sport from November 2020 to December 2021, where he worked in the Hesse Cyber Competence Center. Prior to that, he gained extensive experience in automotive security as Senior Expert for Embedded Hardware Cyber Security at Continental AG from 2014 to 2020. Between 2012 and 2014, he was Deputy Research Group Leader at the PACE Lab of Temasek Laboratories at Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. His academic career began at the Technical University of Darmstadt, where he worked as a research assistant and associated researcher at the Center for Advanced Security Research from 2008 to 2012. He studied electrical engineering and information technology at TU Darmstadt from 2002 to 2008.
