What will I learn in my studies?
You will learn:
- How to support people in difficult situations.
- How to plan and implement projects.
- How to work with groups.
- Which rights and laws are important.
- How to support children, families and older people.
You do several internships.
This means that you work in an institution and gain practical experience.
Where can I work later?
After your studies, you can work in many areas:
- In hospitals
- In daycare centers or schools
- With people with disabilities
- With older people
- In child and youth welfare
- With people who are in prison
- With people who have experienced flight
- In addiction support
You help people and improve their life situation.
You can also write a doctoral thesis at the Faculty of Social Sciences.
This is called obtaining a doctorate.
When your thesis is finished, you are awarded a doctorate.
It shows that you have a great deal of knowledge in a particular subject.
