Vice-President Prof. Dr. Andreas Brensing began by welcoming President Jong Pil Won, Dr. Jae Ung Yeom (Vice President for International Affairs) and Seokje Hyun (Inbound Exchange and Visiting Student Program Coordinator). In a joint meeting with Prof. Dr. Daniel Münstermann, Dean for Academic Affairs of the Faculty of Engineering, and representatives of the International Office, a possible expansion of the existing cooperation was discussed. Other topics included the future English-language master's degree programs and the faculty's planned English-language bachelor's degree program.
Campus tour: flight simulator and Scuderia Mensa
As part of the subsequent campus tour, various laboratories and specializations of the Faculty of Engineering were presented. The tour began with an insight into avionics and unmanned aerial vehicles through a visit to the associated laboratory. This was followed by a presentation of the flight simulator, where the guests were able to take a seat in the cockpit for a landing or take-off. This was followed by a visit to the hydrogen technology and energy storage laboratory. The tour ended with a guided tour of the automotive hall and the workshop to present the interdisciplinary work of the Scuderia Mensa racing team, among other things.
