Prof. Dr. Ulrich Rost
I am fascinated by the topics of energy and hydrogen. Both in my academic appointment and in my private life, I am enthusiastic about the technical progress of hydrogen technology and the many possible fields of application, especially for green hydrogen, which is produced in a climate-friendly way using renewable energy plants.
As part of the further development of energy technologies, I am concerned with the question of which technical concepts and concrete solutions we can use to help make today's established energy conversion processes climate-friendly, ensure sustainable energy supply security and reduce furtherCO2 emissions until climate neutrality is achieved. One focus of my work is on the development and research of modern water electrolysers and fuel cells.
