In 2023, Hochschule RheinMain founded the interdisciplinary azare research center with the goal of developing solutions to drive the transition to a sustainable energy system. In particular, companies and municipalities in the South Hesse region are to be supported in their efforts to achieve climate neutrality.
azare serves numerous fields of research that deal with how the energy system can be transformed to maximize the use of renewable energies and how it can be systemically integrated via sector coupling.
