What is it?

The degree program Real Estate Management provides students with generalist training for the real estate sector. It is aimed at people who want to work in the administration and development of real estate projects. The entire lifecycle of real estate - from first-time occupancy to conversion right up to demolition - is examined. The contents therefore stem from the fields of business administration, law, construction and operation, with a focus on engineering and technical issues in real estate. In particular, the degree program is characterized by the following additional aspects:

  • a generalist approach,
  • clear sector-specific orientation,
  • international contacts.

Typical topics that are covered during the degree program are, for example, the basics of structural design, construction planning and project management. In addition, the subjects of how to conclude contracts for the purchase and sale of real estate and how to decide whether the operation of a property is economical or not are examined.

What can I do with it?

The generalist and comprehensive character of the degree program qualifies graduates for a wide range of career options. These range from real estate developers and property developers to facility and asset management companies, banks and auditing companies.
