Prof. Dr. Maria Wiesmann

I have been an interim professor of general business administration with a specialization in accounting and controlling at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences since 2025.

In research and teaching, I am particularly interested in the connection between business management and leadership. My doctoral project in the field of management was dedicated to mental health in management positions in an international HR context.

My research focus is on accounting & controlling as well as leadership and HR management. Having worked in management at ALDI SOUTH for several years, I also have many years of management experience and comprehensive control and management expertise.
