Support for international students

Even after your matriculation as a student, we support you in all questions or issues that might come up related to your studies.

If you need any attestations or other documents (e.g. attestations such as "Studienstandsbescheinigung" for the "Ausländerbehörde" (Foreigners' Registration Office), please contact us at  studieren(at) .

For any other general questions or issues related to your studies, please refer to international(at) .

In addition to that, our International Tutors will be here to help you with everyday questions or challenges that might come up. You can contact them at welcome-tutoren(at) .

We are international students ourselves who are employed by the university to help you! We answer all your questions and assist with all matters concerning your studies, or help you find the right people to talk to. We also provide you with information about housing, financing jobs, administrative procedures and recreational activities.

We cordially invite all incoming students for winter 2022/23 to join our
Virtual Welcome Café, starting August 2022 (link and specific times tba)

During our info sessions we inform you about important topics for your stay in Wiesbaden and at Hochschule RheinMain, like how to register your place of residence, how to use your student account and how to sign up for classes. You will have the chance to meet our staff from different departments that will be your academic advisors during your semester as well as colleagues from different university services, like university sports and our libraries.

Welcome Event on campus in Wiesbaden on September 13, 2022

The Vice President of Hochschule RheinMain for studying, teching and international affairs officially welcomes you to our university. Join us for free food and fun activities. This afternoon is all about having a good time and meeting your feelow incoming students. We look forward to seeing you on campus!

Our two-week intensive German language course for the upcoming winter term 2022/23 will run from September 19 - 30, 2022.

Summer Schools at Hochschule RheinMain

You are welcome to participate in one of our annual Summer School Programs in Wiesbaden and Rüsselsheim. Gain insight into state-of-the-art research, develop your skills and enjoy a cultural and leisure program with interntional and German students. All programs are held in English.

International Summer School on Advanced Web Engineering


RheinMain University is cooperating closely with four partner universities in Austria, Norway, Thailand and the USA within the degree programs Media: Conception & Production and Creative Media Conception. Within this project (“Global Design & Media CoSpace”) there are scholarships available for students going to and coming from those partner Universities.
