Talented, committed students at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences are eligible to be selected for the "Deutschlandstipendium" (Germany Scholarship) at the university.
The university has been involved in the Germany-wide scholarship program organized by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research since 2011. The goal of the scholarship program is to offer talented, committed students the opportunity to realize their full potential and encourage more students to study. Half of the program's funding is from federal budget funds and the other half is from private-sector partners.
Over the past years, the university has continually increased the number of scholarships awarded and persuaded a larger number of supporters to join the program. In 2014, 79 students were supported by 20 scholarship partners.
Prof. Dr. Christiane Jost, Vice-President of the RheinMain University, welcomes the commitment of companies: "The Germany Scholarship is just a small contribution to students' living costs, but it's also a real financial help for them. I'm very pleased that we've found so many committed partners in our region."
Testimonies from companies involved in the Germany Scholarship and students who receive assistance from the program can be found on the German pages, as can information for any interested parties.
The RheinMain University of Applied Sciences job portal supports students and graduates as they start working life. Companies can use the job portal to search for potential staff with a qualified background by setting up a personal account and accessing the details of students currently looking for jobs. They can also place their own job adverts in the portal free of charge.
