WELCOMECENTER Hessen
In cooperation with Hochschule RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, the WELCOMECENTER Hessen (WCH) offers assistance and advice for international workers, specialists and managers who are new to Hessen or who are still abroad and are interested in making themselves at home in Hessen. Potential future professionals, including international students, will be supported with information on the topics of work permits and recognition of foreign professional qualifications, housing, social security system, learning German as well as advice for applications and job interviews. Since the founding of the WELCOMECENTER Hessen, many international specialists from various countries have been successfully advised and supported on their way in Hessen personally, by email, telephone and / or video and actively accompanied through workshops and coaching. The WCH is a joint project of the Hessian Ministry for Social Affairs and Integration, Hessen’s Regional Directorate, the Federal Employment Agency (Bundesagentur für Arbeit) through its regional office in Frankfurt am Main (Agentur für Arbeit), and the Chamber of Skilled Crafts for the Frankfurt Rhine-Main Metropolitan Region.
