New poetry lecturer: Raphaela Edelbauer

Winter semester 2023/24 the next round starts: in cooperation with the cultural office of the state capital Wiesbaden, the well-known author Raphaela Edelbauer is a guest at the Hochschul- und Landesbibliothek and the Literaturhaus Villa Clementine.

Born in 1990, the Austrian studied language arts at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and has been active in literature since 2009. Her debut "Entdecker. Eine Poetik" was published in 2017 and won the main prize of the Rauriser Literaturtage for the best german-language prose debut. This was followed by her novels "Das flüssige Land" (2019), which landed her on the shortlist for the german book prize, "DAVE" (2021), for which she received the austrian book prize, and "Die Inkommensurablen," which was published in January 2023 and is set in the last hours before the outbreak of the First World War.
