HONORS AND SPECIAL CREDITS

For outstanding service to the RheinMain university the senate can assess a proposal for persons to receive honorary titles. These proposals are put forward by the standing committee for honors and must be passed with a majority of two-thirds of the members present. The following honorary titles may be awarded:

  1. The title of honorary senator for individuals who have rendered outstanding service to the university.
  2. The award of a Medal of Honor for people, groups, companies or organizations who have rendered outstanding services to the RheinMain university in particular.
