Interior Architecture

Bachelor of Arts

What is it?

The degree program interior architecture offers students a generalist, artistic-creative qualification with a focus on design. Besides the field of artistic or craftsmanship-oriented interior architecture, this also includes architecture for trade fairs and exhibitions, new media with virtual and media architecture as well as stage and film set design.

The unique feature of the degree program is the one-year foundation course in artistic methodology. The focus of the subsequent specialist studies is on project work as a simulation of the execution of real design assignments. The core component of the generalist training is the completion of project work in required elective modules in the areas of space, staging, object and corporate architecture.

What can I do with it?

The bachelor's degree is a professional qualification in interior architecture for project staff in offices and agencies and meets the high requirements of independent project management ranging from preliminary drafts to project management. The degree program qualifies graduates for work in interior design agencies and in the professional fields of trade fair, exhibition and event architecture or in the planning departments of companies (lighting/lamps, furniture, construction companies).
