Andreas Kah completed his bachelor's degree in media technology at RheinMain University in 2016 with a thesis at the Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Media Technology (IDMT). He successfully completed the subsequent master's program in Media & Communications Technology at RheinMain University in mid-2018 with a master's thesis on video encoding. He is currently employed as a research assistant in the BMBF-funded research project VidUX, which aims to improve the user experience in video streaming. He focuses on the development of algorithms in the context of adaptive video streaming.
