DESCRIPTION:The GI-VR/AR workshop is one of the leading academic events fo
 r virtual\, augmented\, and extended reality in the German-speaking world 
 and brings together approximately 100 experts from research and industry e
 ach year. The focus is on current developments in virtual reality\, augmen
 ted reality\, extended reality\, mixed reality\, 3D interaction\, and rela
 ted fields of research.\nThe program includes scientific presentations and
  papers from the Paper Track. This year’s keynote speakers are:\nProf. D
 r. Philipp Slusallek\, Scientific Director of the German Research Center f
 or Artificial Intelligence (DFKI) and Professor of Computer Graphics at Sa
 arland UniversityProf. Dr. Julie R. Williamson\, professor of Immersive In
 teraction (Computing Science) at the University of Glasgow\nSpeakers at th
 e opening ceremony will include Dr. Nicolas Sölter\, State Secretary at t
 he Hessian Ministry of Digitalization and Innovation\, and Prof. Dr. Eva W
 aller\, President of the HSRM.\nIn addition to the scientific program\, th
 e workshop features an exhibition with demonstrations and exhibits from th
 e fields of computer graphics\, games\, virtual and augmented reality\, co
 mputer vision\, artificial intelligence\, and hardware. Companies will hav
 e the opportunity to present their solutions\, engage in dialogue with res
 earchers\, and network with students and doctoral candidates. In this way\
 , the event at HSRM creates a framework for knowledge transfer between res
 earch\, practical experience\, and junior researchers.\nThe event is organ
