International Staff Week 2025
VR, AR and AI in International Higher Education: Challenges and Opportunities
Are you interested in internationalization in higher education and work in an international office or as an advisor for international affairs in your department?
Then join us at Hochschule RheinMain's International Staff Week from 30 June 2025 to 03 July 2025.
With a focus on the uses of artificial intelligence, virtual reality and augmented reality in international student recruitment and other areas of internationalization, the staff week offers workshops and talks on new opportunities these technologies provide and the challenges they create. The program allows for sharing experiences and best practice examples, as well as for networking and strengthening partnerships.
The Hochschule RheinMain International Staff Week is targeted at staff from international offices at central or departmental levels, as well as faculty members in positions as international affairs advisors to students and/or staff.
Workshops are set out to include discussions on using AI in international student recruitment and other areas of higher education, chatbots and VR projects to engage prospective students. A detailed schedule will be published in Mai 2025.
Thank you for your interest in our international staff week. Registration will open in February 2025.
The participation fee is 100€ per participant, which includes a welcome package, coffee breaks, the welcome reception and a trip to the near-by wine growing region.
The working language is English. We highly recommend at least B2 level (according to CEFR) in communication.
