"Katalog Plus" search

The Bertramstraße library contains literature on the following topics:

  • Economics
  • Business administration
  • Insurance
  • Business law
  • Health care economics

Currently the collection comprises about 40,000 books, e-books, 80 journal subscriptions as well as theses written by Wiesbaden Business School students. Electronic periodicals can be accessed via the  EZB and databases such as WISO, Juris, Beck online, Statista via the database system  DBIS.

Internet and WLAN access is only for staff and students of RheinMain University of Applied Sciences. Students from other universities can access WLAN via EDUROAM.

Regular training sessions are held also on literature research and the literature administration program Citavi.

Reference books, dictionaries and a selection of interdisciplinary literature is also available. Besides approximately 90,000 books, there are round 300 periodical subscriptions and the daily newspaper "Wiesbadener Kurier". The library also houses theses of the Social Work and Civil Engineering degree programs.

The Bau-Info-PC can be used for special research on civil engingeering and architecture.

Books on all subjects are available at the Rheinstrasse Library. You can order these media via  Katalog Plus. When you place your order, please state where you would like to pick it up. The ordering time varies according to which library you have chosen.

Electronic periodicals, e-books and databases are also at your disposal.

Items that are more than 100 years old can only be ordered and used in the reading room.

The reading room has a comprehensive collection of different types of material (encyclopedia, reference books, dictionaries), the current year of several hundred periodicals and reference texts on the German A-level/baccalaureate examination ("Abitur") for Hesse.

It is possible to take part in the regularly held "Introduction to the library" without prior registration and free of charge. We also offer guided tours for school classes and participants in further education courses. Please make an appointment with us.

Besides approximately 25,000 books, there are around 60 periodical subscriptions and the "Wiesbadener Kurier" daily newspaper. Additionally, the library contains the theses of students from Computer Science, Media Management, Media: Conception & Production and Media & Design Management.
