If capacities allow, individuals who want to complete or extend their knowledge of specific subject areas can be admitted as guest auditors provided that their prior education and training or current occupation enables them to understand and follow the classes offered. Working persons interested in continuing education will receive special consideration. Guest auditors need not supply documentation of higher education entrance qualifications as specified in § 54 of the Hesse Higher Education Act (Hessisches Hochschulgesetz).

To be admitted as guest auditor, you need to apply within the regular application deadlines at the RheinMain University. Please find the current application deadlines in the academic calendar.

For your guest auditor application to be processed, you need to submit the following documents:

• A completed application form with the title and the number of the course you would like to attend, a signature of the instructor of the course and a signature from the faculty where the course is offered.

• Evidence that you have transferred the fee of 100 euros per semester.

Course catalogs can be picked up in the administrative offices of the faculties. Use the course numbers from the course catalog to fill in your application form. If at all possible, try to obtain the signatures of the instructor and the dean of the faculty in person.

After having paid the fee, present your application and your evidence of payment in the Admissions Office to pick up your approval slip.
