Here you will find an overview of the campuswide advising services that will assist you in choosing your program of study and with all questions and issues that may pop up during your studies at RheinMain university.
The Student Information Center, known by its acronym S!C, is the centrally located drop-in center for all general questions regarding studying at RheinMain University. Check in at the S!C's contact point, the so-called i-punkt ("i point", the dot on the i), where you can always get some first information without any waiting time.
The Division for Student and International Affairs is in charge of admissions for all applicants with international documents. Its team also advises students on issues related to study abroad during or after studying at RheinMain University. In particular, it informs about funding and scholarships for studying beyond Germany's borders and about exchange programs with international universities. The division also advises and assists international students as well as guest auditors.
The Admissions Office answers questions regarding your higher education entrance qualification, processes your application for admission and registration at the university. Among other things, the admissions team is responsible for enrollment, re-registration (intent to return), disenrollment and issuing the StudentCard.
Student Advising informs and advises prospective and current students. Advising sessions focus on the interests, questions or problems relevant to the advisees. For instance, the team frequently assists students in choosing the right academic program, provides guidance for current students and supports graduates when they are ready to enter the workforce. Student Advising also offers psychotherapeutic counseling for all students at RheinMain University at all study locations in Wiesbaden, Rüsselsheim and Geisenheim.
