Being service-minded is foremost on our minds. The administration provides services that support teaching, application-oriented research and study, that contribute to the internationalization of the university and help define its profile and heighten its performance. To meet these goals, the administration is structured in five divisions, which adds transparency and facilitates our operations and campus-wide communication.

Division I (Abteilung I) deals with student and international affairs. It contains four subject areas: International Affairs, Student Affairs, International Services (provided by the Office for International Services) and University Sports.
Division II is in charge of budget, financial planning, construction management and maintenance. It is divided into four areas, for instance Financial Planning and SAP Support.
Division III is responsible for human resources, which includes for example the subject area Personnel Development.
Division IV deals with legal Services, occupational safety and building and grounds maintenance. Among its four subject areas are Campus Management, Occupational Safety and Legal Services.
Division V is accountable for strategic planning, teaching and research and includes the subject areas Technology and Knowledge Transfer and Research Funding.
