Cultural Events at Hochschule RheinMain

The university leadership, some degree programs as well as the initiatives of individual professors promote cultural events at the university, with a positive impact on our study locations as well as the wider Rhein-Main region.

One of these events is the Young Authors' Lecture Series on Poetics, during which young authors who belong to the most well-known talents not just in Germany give two lectures (Lunch Lectures) at RheinMain University and do two readings at the Literaturhaus of the City of Wiesbaden (in the Villa Clementine). Some of the guest lecturers to date were the bestselling author Daniel Kehlmann and the winner of the German Book Award Julia Franck.

With their exhibitions, often connected to graduation ceremonies, the media-oriented degree programs, too, contribute to cultural events of the university that attract attention in the wider region.

Furthermore, RheinMain University's Writing Workshop regularly publishes anthologies with its work as part of the university's academic book series "Teaching, Applied Research and Continuing Education."

Information about events and publications can be found under "Aktuelle Meldungen" on our home page (in German only) as well as in the local news.
