The Supervisory Board's eight members hail from the two societal areas science and research on the one hand and business and professional practice on the other. 

Next to Professor Burkhardt Kampschulte (Technische Hochschule Mittelhessen University of Applied Sciences), Professor Gunter Schweiger (president of Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences), former undersecretary Dr. Klaus Palandt and Dr. Peter Altvater (HIS Hochschul-Informations-System GmbH Abteilung Hochschulmanagement [Higher Education Information System GmbH, Division Higher Education Management]) represent the academic area.

The representatives from the area of business and professional practice comprise the Chief Executive of the Wiesbaden Chamber of Industry and Commerce Joachim Nolde, Jörg E. Feuchthofen, Legal Counsel and Chief Executive of the Union of Entrepreneur Associations of Hesse in Frankfurt, the Director of Product Development and Design of Adam Opel AG, engineer Karl-Friedrich Stracke, and the district-level head of the subject area education, science and research of ver.di trade union, Birgit Braitsch.  

Chair of the Supervisory Board is Dr. Peter Altvater, Jörg Feuchthofen serving as his deputy.

The term of office of this Supervisory Board ends on December 31, 2014.
