The self-governing bodies at RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, apart from the President's Council and the Extended President's Council, include in particular the University Senate and the Supervisory Board (Hochschulrat). The University Board consults the university on its development in the areas of teaching, studying and research. The university appoints seven respected personalities from business, academic and professional areas for service on the Supervisory Board.
