Data Protection Officer
Responsibilities
In accordance with the Hesse Data Protection Act (HDSG), it is the task of the official Appointee for Data Protection to assist data processing units to execute the HDSG and other data protection regulations and to provide information on its proper implementation. The Appointee for Data Protection must be informed and consulted regarding all projected measures affecting data protection and informational self-determination. University staff and students can contact the appointee with all data-protection-related matters.
