The Language Center was established in 2006 and has the following Goals and Services:

• Developing students’ language skills and intercultural competence in preparation for internships or studies abroad, as well as for future work in foreign countries
• Assisting students with the creation of foreign language job application materials, as well as their preparation for job interviews
• Advising all academic programs in all aspects of language instruction as well as conducting language courses for students of all departments
• Bringing the university’s language courses into line with the Common European Frame of Reference for Languages (CEF)
• Bringing the university’s language courses into line with the Common European Frame of Reference for Languages (CEF)
• Enriching language instruction by means of a multimedia centre; also used for self-study
