After the huge success of the Volunteer Days of 2009 and 2010, we are now looking for a new team of students that will plan and organize Volunteer Day 2011.
On behalf of the Volunteer Center Wiesbaden, students of RheinMain University organize a day of action that aims to promote volunteer service, inform the wider public about the work of the Volunteer Center and to turn the spotlight on needs of not-for-profit organizations.
Among the latter number tasks such as public relations, recruiting volunteers, action planning, consulting and assisting organizations, creating websites for them and putting together documentations and evaluations.
The project starts with an orientation week about project management and public relations work in February 2011.
