is the name for continuing education offerings of RheinMain University of Applied Sciences in the professional area of environmental planning, landscape architecture and environmental engineering. The practice-oriented program of events, which was first offered in 2003, is planned and organized in cooperation with professors from various faculties. Themes of the events included cluster around the central issues of preservation of the environment and precautionary environmental protection. Some of the events provide room for reflecting professional practice, at others research results and concepts for solving environmental problems are presented and discussed with participants.
Within the outlined framework, Nature.Environment.Technology is open for new thematic impulses. The organizers will thus be glad to take up suggestions for future topics from professionals in the field. Individual events are planned and organized in cooperation with different partners. So far, some of our cooperation partners have been, among others, the Federal Association for Professional Environmental Protection, the Federation of German Landscape Architects, the German Society of Horticulture and Landscape Cultivation, the Engineers' Academy Hesse GmbH, The Hesse Chamber of Engineers GmbH, the Hesse Association for Environmental and Landscape Maintenance, the Association of the Cities and Municipalities of the Land Hesse, the Associations of the Cities of Hesse, the Association of German Engineers and the Society for the Assessment of Environmental Sustainability.
The topics of this series are closely associated with the master's degree program in environmental management and urban planning in metropolitan areas of the Faculty of Architecture and Civil Engineering and the Geisenheim Faculty of Viticulture, Oenology, Horticulture, Beverage Engineering and Landscape Architecture.
