In professional contexts, business know-how and entrepreneurial thinking is increasingly being required of non-specialist employees as well. This knowledge, however, has not always been part of their training. The European Business Competence Licence (EBC*L) ensures the international comparability of core business competences.

• goals, methods and instruments of business plan design
• marketing and sales
• investment analysis and financial planning

iwib has been an official EBC*L examination center since January 1, 2007 and offers examination dates at regular intervals. On passing the examination, you receive a certificate that attests to your business competences and is valid throughout Europe. Find more information under www.ebcl.de.

The adult education centers (Volkshochschulen) in Wiesbaden, Rüsselsheim and Hanau offer EBC*L courses, that prepare for the standardized tests.
