The program in environmental and biological process engineering, which confers a master's degree, builds as a second degree program on bachelor's programs such as the environmental engineering program of RheinMain University of Applied Sciences, the biological process engineering program of Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences or other comparable programs. It aims at leading students to a second degree which provides knowledge and skills in specialized areas of biological and environmental process engineering.
The three-semester master's program is offered jointly by the Faculty of Engineering of RheinMain University of Applied Sciences and the Faculty of Computer Science & Engineering of Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences. Students can enter the program in winter and summer semesters. Enrollment is with RheinMain University of Applied Sciences. Go here to find out more about the program's admission requirements.
The program has a modular structure. This means that the semesters can be studied independently of each other, while students are able to freely choose from eight modules in their sixth semester. Go to the "Modules & Courses" page to have a look at detailed course and module descriptions.
Because of the program's broadly conceived nature, its graduates can take on a variety of tasks and work in diverse fields of work, which include for instance:
