The mechanical engineering program is intended to be a seven-semester full-time program. Students can enter the program in any semester. The program can also be studied as a part-time program.

Limited Admission

The number of places to study is limited to 90 in winter semesters and 45 in summer semesters.

The following entrance qualifications are required of applicants:

• Abitur or another high-school degree equivalent
• a specialized high school degree (Abitur) or equivalent
• a specialized high school degree (Abitur) or equivalent
• a master craftsman's or craftswoman's examination
