The cooperative degree program systems engineering is divided into two segments.

The first segment has a length of five semesters (2.5 years) and is completed with an intermediate transcript of records and a Chamber of Industry and Commerce-administered examination in the chosen trade (preferably mechatronic technician, industrial mechanic or related trades). During this segment of studies, you will spend two days on campus and three days in your enterprise.

The ensuing second segment of studies consists of three semesters (1.5 years). Successful graduates are awarded a bachelor of science degree. During this segment of studies, you will spend three days on campus and two days working on engineering tasks in your enterprise.

To prepare for your Chamber of Industry and Commerce examination, you will also attend instruction at a vocational school during the first segment of studies. This will usually take place on Tuesday afternoons. During semester breaks, you will work full-time in your enterprise except during your regular vacations.
