Lab Profile
The lab's task is to provide students with a practical introduction to the areas of renewable energy, energy efficiency as well as hydrogen and fuel cell technologies. Numerous bachelor's and master's theses are written in these areas, frequently in close cooperation with the industry. The lab class familiarizes students with measuring techniques and experimental methods for assessing the quality of fuel cells and with the production of hydrogen with renewable energy sources. Students learn how to produce and store hydrogen and examine different components. Students also test cutting-edge hydrogen storage technologies and develop the necessary measuring techniques. All projects are carried out in close cooperation with industrial partners.
