The lab for construction acoustics investigates and optimizes the acoustic characteristics of construction components and materials. Each semester, the lab conducts experimental demonstrations to illustrate and expand instruction. The lab is affiliated with courses 1305 and 1306 construction physics (construction acoustics). By arrangement, the lab can also be used to complete parts of theses by all of the faculty's students.
The lab offers a full set of measurement instruments for determining the key acoustic room and construction properties: impact sound level, noise reduction value, sound absorption value, ceiling test stand, wall test stand, reverberation room. Computer-aided measuring and analysis.
