The Internship Office is in charge of all the the legal, administrative and organizational issues related to internships for the bachelor's program in social work and serves as interface between the two learning sites university and practice.

In this role, the Internship Office is contact point for

• students of the Faculty of Applied Social Sciences
• social institutions, organizations and businesses
• instructors of the faculty who need assistance with internship issues

In addition, the Internship office takes care of the following further responsibilities:

• acquisition and approval of suitable internship places and related consulting
• advising and assisting students in all internship-related questions and with preparing and completing internship modules
• cooperation with social services providers, institutions and departments as well as professionals from the practice
• consulting of the faculty on issues of practical training and social work practice
• participation in coordinating, organizing and administering internship modules
• organizing and hosting of events that enable potential internship employers and future student interns to get in touch
• organizing of informational and continuing education offerings for internship supervisors
• checking of documents to be submitted by students and interns
