The Faculty of Applied Social Sciences offers the following degree programs:

• a bachelor's program in social work,
• a part-time distance-learning bachelor's program in social work (BASA online)
• a part-time master's program in social work (MAPS),
• as well as research and continuing education in select areas of the field of social work at the ISAPP – Institute for Social Work Research and Practice.

The education and training offered by all programs is practice-oriented and aims to ready graduates for professional practice. The content of the programs is therefore continuously adapted to ongoing changes in the relevant professional areas.
